Claude Setup

Connectors let Claude pull from our systems instead of guessing. We use two:

• monday.com for boards, items, and updates
• ROZ for our property document index

You add connectors once per account. They stay available in every chat after that.

Open the Connectors Menu

1. Click the + button to the left of the message box.

2. Select Connectors.

3. Select Add connector. From here you can Browse connectors for prebuilt ones, or Add custom connector for ROZ.

Add monday.com

1. Go to + > Connectors > Add connector > Browse connectors.

2. Find monday.com in the list and click Connect.

3. Sign in to monday.com in the window that opens and approve the access request.

4. Back in the connectors menu, make sure the monday.com toggle is on.

Claude sees what you see

The connector uses your own monday.com login. It can only reach the boards you already have access to, and anything it creates or updates is recorded under your name.

Add ROZ

ROZ is our own search service, so it is added as a custom connector.

1. Go to + > Connectors > Add connector > Add custom connector.

2. Fill in the two fields:

   Field	Value

3. Leave the OAuth Client ID and Secret blank under Advanced settings.

4. Click Add.

Set Tool Permissions

By default Claude asks before each tool call. Setting ROZ read-only tools to Always allow removes the interruptions. ROZ only reads, it never edits documents.

1. Go to Settings > Connectors and click ROZ.

2. Next to Read-only tools, choose Always allow.

Keep write tools on approval

Leave monday.com tools that create or change items set to Needs approval so nothing gets written to a board without you seeing it first.

Turn Connectors On and Off

Each chat has its own toggles. Open + > Connectors and switch a connector on or off for the conversation you are in. Turning off the ones you do not need keeps Claude focused and answers faster.

What to Ask

ROZ searches the document index by property, entity, vendor, document type, and year.

monday.com answers questions about boards and items: what is assigned to you, what is overdue, status on a specific item.

These are company documents

Anything ROZ returns is confidential company material. Do not paste results into personal accounts or share them outside EMA.

Troubleshooting

Common connector issues

Connector missing from the menu
Refresh the app or sign out and back in. Custom connectors have to be added once per account, so check Settings > Connectors to confirm ROZ is there.

Claude keeps asking for approval
The tool is set to Needs approval. Change it in Settings > Connectors > ROZ.

ROZ returns nothing
Try the property address or entity name instead of a nickname, and drop the year filter. If it still comes back empty, the document may not be indexed yet.

Connection failed or expired
Open Settings > Connectors, click the connector, then Disconnect and add it again.
