Petty Cash

Elliot & Alana Petty Cash SOP.

Process

  1. Request
    If Elliot, Alana, or BG communicates a cash need – report it to Mike & Rachana.

  2. Check preparation
    Mike & Rachana give check instructions to Odeirre.

  3. Check signature
    Odeirre cuts a check and gives the check to Lily, who has Elliot sign it.

  4. Bank run
    Lily takes the signed check to the bank and withdraws the cash.

  5. Cash handoff
    Lily separates the cash into labeled envelopes (one for Elliot and one for Alana, with the bill breakdown written on the front) and has Elliot sign a receipt when she hands him the cash.

  6. Distribution
    Elliot retains his envelope and delivers Alana’s envelope to her.

  7. Records
    Lily saves check stub and receipts on server.
